About this digital tool
The time zone converter shows what time it is in another zone when the time in the source zone is known. Choose the starting zone, enter the time, choose the target zone and get the converted time together with the difference in hours.
Zones are expressed as offsets from UTC, e.g. UTC+1 for Tirana, Berlin and Paris, UTC+0 for London and UTC−5 for New York. The formula is simple: new time = source time + (target offset − source offset). Remember that in summer, countries that switch to daylight saving time change their offset; choose the zone that applies on the date of your meeting. It is useful for online meetings, calls with family abroad and travel.

How many hours is the time difference between Albania and the USA?
With New York (ET): +6 hours in winter, +6 hours in summer. With Los Angeles (PT): +9 hours. The difference shifts slightly when clocks change.
How do I convert the time from one zone to another?
Find the difference between the UTC offsets and add it to the source time. For example, from UTC+1 to UTC−5 the difference is 6 hours, so 12:00 becomes 06:00.
Does the tool take daylight saving time into account?
Zones are fixed offsets from UTC. During daylight saving time a country has a different offset, so choose the zone that applies for the date you are interested in.
What time is it in Tirana when it is noon in London?
Tirana is generally one hour ahead of London, so when it is 12:00 in London, it is 13:00 in Tirana. The difference is kept when both switch to summer time.
